Consequently, Texas Gas is taking precautionary steps to help address the impacts of COVID-19 as the situation continues to develop. We have business continuity plans in place to provide exceptional, uninterrupted service. Our operating platform remains fully functional, and employees are seamlessly performing their jobs remotely (as applicable), while field employees continue to service the needs of our customers. We are keeping our workforce healthy by emphasizing compliance with social distancing as recommended, including taking extra precautions to schedule and execute safe service visits.
As of March 16, 2020, our office located at 9750 FM 1488 was closed to non-essential employees and contractors. We strongly encourage our customers who currently pay their bill by check to switch to other methods that do not require an office visit or postal service delivery.
We will always be here when you need us, and you can count on us to continue to provide the same high level of service you have come to expect. Keep in mind, the easiest and fastest way to pay a bill or find more information is to visit our website at www.txgas.net. If you do not have an online account, it only takes a few minutes to set up, and you can access your account for details 24/7. We are temporarily suspending natural gas service disconnections for non-payment; however, we highly encourage you to set-up payment deferral plans on delinquent amounts.
